Another ‘Outstanding’ Ofsted result for wboosc – January 2016.
Ofsted visited our Infants’ Kids Club at West Bridgford Infant School on 28th January, almost 6 years to the day of the last inspection. Their summary of key findings for parents are:
Leadership and Management are exceptional. The provider works very effectively with all practitioners, ensuring they continue to maintain high levels of motivation and commitment. There is a clear drive for excellence in all areas. The inspector advised that the provider uses her wealth of experience to an outstanding effect. She is passionate about providing the best possible provision for children and leads an extremely enthusiastic and dedicated team of practitioners.
Children’s behaviour is impeccable. They demonstrate an excellent understanding of the highest standards of behaviour, rules and expectations. Their relationships with practitioners and peers are mutually highly respectful. Children are happy at the club and feel safe and secure.
Children concentrate for extended periods of time on activities they have chosen and activities practitioners have planned. They are highly motivated to take part, showing their readiness to learn and practitioners actively encourage them to be extremely independent.
Children thrive in this high-quality club. Their emotional well-being is exceptionally well supported and practitioners are calm, kind, caring and sensitive in supporting their individual needs. Children have a very clear sense of belonging.
There are excellent partnerships with the host school. This helps practitioners to support children’s individual needs well and complement their learning.
The club has highly successful strategies in place to involve parents in the two-way sharing of information. This helps to promote superb partnerships with parents and strengthens the excellent continuity of care for children. Parents speak very highly of the practitioners and the provision.
